On a Roll…

So I decided having visited Ireland and bought a stratchie that paid out 5 Euro, that I would try my luck in the UK. The first ticket I bought for £1 gave me three chances to win. I scratched all three and won three times, albeit I was annoyed when each win turned out to be £1 each - I guess £3 is better than a kick in the head though.

So I had discussions at work. This was a unique opportunity, not only could I leave Ireland ahead in terms of gambling, but I could also leave the UK ahead if I stopped now. It was decided that stopping now would be no fun, so I cashed out £2 and bought another ticket.

Scratch…scratch…scratch… WIN! £18. This, when converted to $A, is my second biggest win. So I’ve cashed out for now safe in knowing that I can live to fight another day.
